Here are two more attempts at the Paper Crafts Call for projects. One I LOVE, the other eh, but it was for the limited supply challenge, so I can't do much to fix it. CARDS magazine is having a call for kids cards though, so I think it would work better there.

My baby Alice at 3 months old (the stamp on red reads "isn't she lovely). Notice 3 flowers, 3 mushrooms, and 3 photos. ;)

Fun with Vinyl!

It's time again for another fun E.A.D. BLOG HOP!! I'm super excited to say that I finally got to put some E.A.D. vinyl on my walls! I really wanted to add some of their super cute designs in my girls room first, but I think the texture on our walls is a little to rough (Emily suggested a way to get around this though and I want to give it a try later on), so I went to work in the kitchen. Our kitchen already has a slight french theme to it and so the Bon Appetit rub on was PERFECT! I placed it just above the doorway in our kitchen that leads to the dining room.

See the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Close up!

I also got to play along with the Page Maps sketch using E.A.D. vinyl. I mentioned it before, but you should really go and play along, the prize is a $50 gift certificate to E.A.D.! You have until July 19th.

I couldn't resist taking pictures of the girls asleep in my great big bed, they looked so cozy.

Close up of the top. I again used the "extra" vinyl that comes with the rub-ons to make a top border.

(I know that the date is from almost a year ago, I am so behind)

Yes, the girls names MATCH the vinyl on the top, because they are vinyl! I have two whole sheets of Auroras and Alices that I can put wherever I want now and they are so cute too. I really recommend the name rub-ons, especially if the name you are using has an I in is, cause the dots that top the Is are too cute. (ok, I will admit that I had a slight blonde moment with these rub-ons. I ordered one of each for my girls and expected them to show up exactly the same. When I went to place them on my layout I keep trying to figure out why Aurora's name was lacking some of the hearts, flowers, etc. HELLO, she doesn't have an I in her name! lol It took me a few minutes before this dawned on me) hehe

Don't forget to hop on over to all the blogs below and find some more E.A.D. eye candy by some super talented ladies and leave them some love! Then back to the E.A.D. BLOG to be entered in this weeks giveaway (click HERE to see the super cute rub-ons that are up for grabs)!

Awe thanks!

I've been given the same award by two of my online blogging friends, so I better stop slacking and get it posted. Thank you to Shemaine and Katy for thinking of me!

First I have to list 7 fabulous bloggers that I want to nominate for the award and then 7 things that are unique about me.

So here's my seven of my many many favorites! All these ladies have so much talent!

Here is some useless non crafting info about me! :)

1. I can no longer write a note, online or in real life, without putting smilies on it.
2. I was born in PA, but couldn't tell you a thing about the state, other than Hershey's Chocolate is good.
3. Growing up every person in my immediate family had the initials JL.
4. I don't mind doing laundry, but I HATE putting it away.
5. I loved pets as kid, but as a mom I am having second thoughts.
6. I can beat you at Dr. Mario! ;)
7. I own lots of shoes but none of them are high heals.

HHH

Hi all,

My girls actually let me sleep in today, so I'm running a tad behind! One of the challenges for this weeks Hip Hop was to create a card with a black and white background. I had a piece of white scrap cardstock on my desk and started with that. This card is of course the OPPOSITE of what I tell my 3 year old! ;) I think I might actually make it into a scrapbook page embellishment for her album instead of keeping it as a card.

Unity is 30% off all weekend, if you are looking to buy, now is the time! Discount Code: ENJOY

What I Used:
Stamps: Unity's Confession Kit
Paper: BAM POP! and Cardstock
Ink: CTMH Black and Watermelon
Other: Making Memories Stickers and Gems

It is also HIP HOP Thursday in the Unity Forum on SCS, so hop on over and check it out.

I don't have a project to share right now so I will leave you with a picture of my daughter on 4th of July.

Would you like to be a guest designer for Unity Stamp Co?

I would too, so I played along in this months challenge on SCS. The only trick to this is you have to use stamps from Unity's May or June 2009 KOTM and follow the sketch. Well, I SADLY don't belong to the Unity kit club but I was able to do a little stamp swap for two stamps in the May kit. I used one of the those stamps to make the "journal" flower on my card.

Hurry, you have until July 8th to play along!

What I used:

Stamps: Unity's May KOTM

My Talented Friend!

I didn't make these ADORABLE card sets but they were sent to me in the mail by my dearest friend Gina and I HAD to share! She is lucky enough to live by a store called Green Tangerines and takes a class on how to use her cricut (I need one of those). I sometimes get her finished projects and the instructions on how to make them. OH, she also send me sheets of 12 x 12 acrylic to play with, I'm so excited!! I only own black stazon, time to buy more! Thanks for looking, feel free to leave my friend Gina some love.
