Feeling Friendly with E.A.D

*LOL posted this on the wrong blog this AM*

Morning Everyone! Hope you had a fantastic weekend, sadly it's back to work today but that doesn't mean we can't make it fun.  How does an E.A.D Designs blog hop about friends with a fabulous prize up for grabs sound?!

My first card is for all my friends in CA and beyond.  I miss you all and wish we could visit more often! Thanks goodness for keeping in touch with Facebook and email!  For this card I used a flower stem and miss you sentiment from the "Cottage" Rub-ons.  It looks a little black but it's actually in brown vinyl.

Ok, here is where I get cheesy and say that my husband is one of my best friends. ;) I'm just so happy for the relationship that we have and that after so many years we can still go out and enjoy each others company!  This photo was taken was taken on a night out in Portland on a drinking bus tour! Fun times for sure and mustaches were required! My stash was pink!  I actually wish I had more photos of that night because later on I had a different drawn on stash! HAWT! ;)

I ran my vinyl thru my Cuttlebug again! This time using the "Alphabet" vinyl with the Swiss Dots folder.

Here is a better look at our stashes and the E.A.D Designs vinyl mustaches!

Celebrating Easter with E.A.D Designs!

I have always wanted to be one of those people that bust out all kinds of decorations for the upcoming holidays but somehow they always seem to come and go before I find the time.  I've already missed a couple festive days but decided to get a jump start on Easter! I put out what decorations we had and decided it wasn't enough.  The new Easter designs from E.A.D Designs made it super easy for me to make my own.  For my project I used the Easter 1 Rub-ons in pink and the Easter Boarder Rub-ons in lime and light yellow (which are now ON SALE).

My project!

A close up of the rub-ons and Sparkle Mod Podge

Of course you knew that Torendi (hop over to find out how to win some Mod Podge of your own) has teamed up with Mod Podge Rocks this month, so of course I had Mod Podge sitting out on my desk and knew it would be perfect to seal my project.  I used the Sparkle Mod Podge for the sides and top of the box and Matte Mod Podge for the inside and back of the box.  The box it's self came from a set of dipping oils from William Sonoma if I remember correctly.  I decided to use it because it's the prefect size for the little mirror shelf in my entryway.

Other Supplies I used include the cute rabbit stamp by Sassafras, Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie Butterflies, and acrylic paint.

Boy B-Days and More!

Time for a couple more of my March B-day cards this time it's all about the boys.

This card uses the Cosmo Cricket "the boyfriend line."  I think it will forever be one of my favorite lines!  I love all the patterned papers and chipboard images. You can find the 6x6 boyfriend paper pack and 12x12 ready set chipboard in the Torendi sale section! Yep, SALE! The sun stamp is by Unity and Happy Birthday is by CTMH.

This card was quick and easy using the fun papers in the Bam Pop! Volume 3 Collection!  Isn't that little party monster too cute?  I cut him right off a 12x12 pages from this paper pack.  The letter stickers are My Little Shoebox.

Amy who is on the E.A.D Design team with me has a fun giveaway for you HERE!  Anyone want to win some free vinyl?! The best part is YOU get to pick what you win!! How cool is that?  She also has some MORE exciting news HERE, so please be sure to check it out and let her know you stopped by!

Do You Mod Podge?!

Amy over on the Mod Podge Rocks Blog sure does! Amy has so kindly teamed up with the Torendi DT this month for some Mod Podge fun! All month long Amy and the Torendi DT will be showing you some AWESOME Mod Podge/Torendi creations!  Other than the inspiring eye candy, Amy has so generously offered to giveaway 4 (that's one a week) Mod Podge Started Kits!!  All you have to do hop on over to the Torendi blog and leave a comment every friday!  Want even more goodies?? Amy has some Japanese Imported FABRIC fromTorendi that she will be giving away over on her blog, so don't miss out on that either!

For my first project I made a card using the Cosmo Cricket boyfriend line and some Shinzi Katoh Pinocchio Fabric.  To make the fabric workable, I applied it to some cardstock using the matte finish Mod Podge.  Once it was dry, I was able to run it threw my cuttlebug (with scalloped circle nesties), no problem.  I cut out another scalloped circle from the Cosmo Cricket paper to place over the fabric to  make it standout more.  I wanted the fabric and scalloped circle paper to make it appear as one piece, almost like a button or sticker, so I applied gloss Mod Podge over the whole thing.

Here is a close up of what it looks like.

Paper: Cosmo Cricket the boyfriend and cardstock

Stamps: Unity Stamp Co - Distresses Dots Background

"Framed Cuteness" ROCKS!

The March 2010 Torendi Kit of the Month came out today and it's sooo adorable.  It's called "Framed Cuteness". You can learn all about it over on the Torendi Blog or shop for it in the Torendi Store

Bam Pop! and Sassafras Nerdy Bird, oh my!

I had some time to play with the kit and this is what I came up with!

I wanted to show you a close up of the stamp, so kawaii!  Also the purple tape is a Japanese masking tape, marketed here in the U.S. by Love My Tapes.  Torendi is thinking of carrying some, what do you think?

The "YOU ROCK" sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company's School Rock Star Set.
