Tiles, Tiles, and more Tiles!

*Edit: ALL THESE TILES ARE SOLD!! Be on the look out for more soon or please email me with requests!*

Ok, I told you I have been having way too much fun with these things! I think I understand the obsession with ATCs now, but theses are even smaller.  So, I received an email asking if I would sell my necklaces or take custom orders, OF COURSE! So if you see something you like, shoot me an email and just ask! :D (again, I am waiting on the backings to arrive though).  Ok, let me try to tell you what I used to create all my tiles!

Recognize these adorable girls?! Emily shrunk down the Torendi Rub-on girls into stickerz for me, so KAWAII!!!!  I would like to think it's cause I'm super special but E.A.D Designs does custom orders for everyone! ;) hehehe Paper is all BasicGrey.

All of these tiles are Cosmo Cricket Rub-ons. I actually forgot I had these.  I love Cosmo Crickets designs, but sometimes these rub-ons don't "rub on" very well.  Luckily they behaved for me this time. Paper is all BasicGrey again, except for the skull, that's Sassafras.

These rub-ons are by Heidi Grace. Paper is by BG, Cosmo Cricket and Bam Pop!

Just Bam Pop! paper here, LOVE! You can find these paper lines at Torendi (half off)

These are brads I had and just took of the backings.  They stick off the tile a lot and give them a different look.  Paper is BG again.

For the flower lovers! All paper is basic grey.  I think the first two flowers are K and Company, but I'm not sure.  The second 2 are flower buttons by Cosmo Cricket, that were in Torendi's "Color by Number" kit. (half off!)

Still with me? LOL  Let's see the first one is Sassafras paper with a MM embellishment.  Number 2 is Bam Pop! Paper with a cupcake that fell off something my daughter had (HAHAHA, I should probably give this one to her).  3 and 4 are my favorite Cosmo Cricket line, the boyfriend, paper and chipboard.

whew!  I hope you like them as much as I do!  Happy Saturday!
Oh, big news and a new kit from Torendi tomorrow!

Gift Card Holders

A friend of a friend (well I suppose  consider them friends now LOL...anyway) owns a coffee shop close to my town. A while back I took in a bunch of my cards to sell and they LOVED THEM! HOORAY!  They also asked me to make up some gift card holders for their store.  This is what I came up with.

They wanted some that were for b-days
and some that represented their store.

All I can say is thank goodness I have a ton of these coin envelopes from Torendi laying around! They work out so well for gift certificate/gift card holding. I also used letters from Popfont 2 (HALF OFF AT TORENDI) and washi tape!  Gotta love the washi tape!

A HUGE thanks to Outer Rim Coffee and Michelle for loving my work! :D

Tiles!

Ok, so yesterday I mentioned my tile necklace obsession, today I will let you take a peek at my mess... I mean process! LOL  So after the first three, I sat down and made these next 9. They don't have the necklaces backing yet cause I am waiting for them to arrive.

All these little guys have E.A.D Designs images. The first is from the Torendi Rub-ons and the rest are Got Game Stickerz

Let's see..in order.  The first one is just Sassafras paper, then #s 2 and 4 are MLS overlays and the chess piece is a Tim Holtz stamp (thanks Ryann) with a pawn from the Got Game Stickerz.

I also found another use for my saved up produce containers! STORAGE!

Ok, you may want to close your eyes for this one, it's pretty bad.....my desk.

but here is what that mess was for!  Little tiles just ready to be decorated! I'm thinking I may leave the Bam Pop! papers as they are cause they are so cute on their own!

I will post the rest when they are done! And don't forget that there is a video HERE!

Sometimes I like to amuse myself with my cards, can you tell? ;) This card started out as a HAPPY Birthday card, but I quickly had this wonderful idea and had to peal off all of the letter stickers and spell MERRY instead! hehe
Then to give it the final Alice in Wonderland touch, the cute little Mad Hatter hat!  I didn't add it to white cardstock this time, so that it would blend into the background.

E.A.D BLOG HOP TIME!!

Hey everyone! I hope you found me from Amy's blog, if not, PLEAE start over at the E.A.D Designs Blog!  Since there is no theme this week, it should be fun to see how different all the posted projects are.

I made a card using the Believe in Make-Believe Stickerz and BG Green at Heart Paper.  I just thought  the paper went perfectly with the little girl, like she was sitting in a field of flowers.  I paper pieced the tiny mushrooms and colored the girl with Sharpies.
Here is a closer look at the sentiment and coloring.
I also added my video about how to color the E.A.D Designs Stickerz so that you can learn to match them to any of your creations, like I did above!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and please keep on hoping to Rae's Blog

E.A.D Designs COLOR CHALLENGE - Argyle

It's time for another E.A.D Designs Color Challenge!! WOO HOO!
Be sure to go to the BLOG to find out all the details and how to link up your project!

Isn't this just too fun?!? I really want those socks! :)

Here is my card using the new Argyle Stickerz and background.
Who doesn't love Chucks?! Really?!
I think even though the card has a pink background, it could easily be for a teen boy or girl.

Here is a closer look at my letters, I used the stamp set in THIS KIT to add the tiny black stars.

And the inside! I put the stickerz sentiment right on top of the skateboard sticker.  The exclamation point is from the E.A.D Designs Alphabet Rub-ons.

I hope you play along with this challenge! You could win a $20 gift certificate to the E.A.D Designs store and just for playing along you get a coupon code for $25% off! I can't wait to see what you create!

Torendi Challenge!

Did you know Torendi is hosting a challenge?! You still have until Sunday night to play along! Find all the details HEREAlthough I can't win (hehehe), I decided to play along and join the fun!  I used this photo as my inspiration.

And this is what I came up with!

First I used pink ink to color the background of my card, then I doodled in the white cherry blossoms to match the inspiration photo.  I paper pieced the cute panda from the Torendi "A Kawaii Day" rub-ons and finished it off with E.A.D Designs "Text Talk Stickerz".

I hope you find time to play along with Torendi! (note: you don't need to use Torendi products to play along)

E.A.D Designs Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone! Did you have a good 4th of July? I hope most of you are enjoying an extra day off today!

So the E.A.D Designs blog hops have been switched around a bit.  They will now be EVERY MONDAY! WOOHOO! The first Monday of the month the hop will be themed, this week is red, white and blue.  All other Mondays will just be chalked full of random E.A.D Designs goodness. OH, I almost forgot there will now be a monthly Guest Designer on the blog hops too, fun fun fun! Also, the new color challenge will start on the second Thursday of each month.  Ok I think I covered it all, on to my red, white and blue project!

Last time I bought some tiny tomatoes, I kept the plastic container they came in.  I decided to use that container as a cute thank you gift holder.  I was thinking of filling it with cherries or maybe some form of cherry candy for a cheerful neighbor or dear friend. I used three different rub-on sets for this project, "Life is Sweet" (in cherry), "Brackets" (in white), and "Sentiments" (in black). All the paper is from the Sassafras Cherry Delicious line.

After I made the gift holder, I decided to make a card to go with it using the same "Life is Sweet" rub-ons.

Here they are together!!

NEXT ON THE HOP IS RAE!!
(If you get lost, please start from the beginning...HERE)
