Happy Thanksgiving

Hi Everyone

Hope you all have a warm and welcoming place to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday.  I'm at my MIL for most of the weekend, I brought some stamping stuff, but we will see what I get accomplished.  My dd did make a gingerbread house last night and I will have to post a couple of those pics later today.  

I also wanted to post there are a few things going on at Unity for the weekend.

Go to the unity blog for all the details, but I will do a quick breakdown too.

1) They are selling a super cute kit for a great price, but the best part is HALF the proceeds go to a great cause.  

2) There are of course super hip hop deals :)

OK, so I'm not sure if my sister in law, CHERYL, reads my blog, but if you do...SKIP THIS POST.  You will be getting this in the mail for Christmas, so if you want it to be a surprise, don't look.

I bought a Cosmo Cricket Black Box and altered it a bit with some fun Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine DP.  The little duck and word bubble are also Cosmo black board, but the leaves are Basic Grey chip board.  It's kinda hard to tell in this pic, but I had to sew a little pin cushion to fit into the cut out of the box, as I hope Cheryl can use this for some of her sewing supplies.  I'm not quite sure how I'm going to cover it up on the inside of the box, since it's a little bulky for paper.  I  guess maybe fabric or just send it how it is, not sure yet.

HIP HOP HANGOVER

It's HHH again today and here is a quick post of the card I did for the Square Challenge on the Hip Hop Forum last night.  Unfortunately, I didn't get the card uploaded yesterday, whoops! My two year old won her pool party prize on her potty chart, so we spend the evening at the indoor pool and watching Kung Fu Panda (thanks V!!).  

I used lots of left over scraps to make this card, some Tinkering Ink Yuletide squares I had cut for my Christmas cards and then the leftover cardstock from the holiday card I made for the Think Snow Challenge as well.  The cute little reindeer is from Unity's Bitty Christmas Tags.
