Ready to get back in the swing of things!

It's the new year and I'm ready to blog it up!  My family is done visiting for the holidays and I'm ready to play with some new paper and presents!  Along with trying to exercise EVERYDAY, I want to craft EVERYDAY (even as little as stamping one image), so starting tomorrow, let's see how well I do! hehe

Today I wanted to let you know that Starving Artistamps just released some Valentine's Day Doodle Factory Stamps, and they are so cute. Check out their blog for a chance to win them and see for yourself just how cute they are.  Here is one of the sets
I also wanted to let you know that week of Monday January 12, I am honored to be Growing in Unity.  That means I will be posting a new project EVERYDAY featuring Unity Stamps.  Can't wait until then?  Check out Kim's blog Endless Inkabilities.

Holiday Cheer

I thought I would share one of the layouts I sent in for the Unity DT spot.  I used Unity stamps and Tinkering Ink Yuletide paper.  The photo was taken in Ridgefield, Washington when we went to find our perfect Christmas tree.

May you all be some place warm and cozy enjoying the company of loved ones. Merry Christmas.

HIP HOP HANGOVER

Happy Friday everyone!  Are you ready for Christmas? It's less than a week away now.  Yesterday was the last Unity hip hop of the year (wow, almost 2009)!  Fun times and lots of prizes.  Visit the UNITY BLOG to see all the great deals (there is a 50% off section!) and the list of other ladies with Unity posts today.  Also visit the HIP HOP forum on SCS for some friendly Friday chatting. :)

Here is the card I have to share.  It was actually for the Unity Wednesday Challenge, but I didn't get around to posting it yet.  The Challenge was to make a monochromatic card, with the color of your choice.  I went with Green.  I used Unity's Giggle Grove and Eco Chic stamp kits along with some yummy Cosmo Cricket paper to complete my card.  Hope you like, and I also hope you do your part to GO GREEN!

Happy Friday

Well, I don't have a hip hop hangover, as I didn't get to hop much at all yesterday, but I do have a Unity project to share.   I've been working on layouts for the Unity DT call, you can see the deets HERE, and am really hoping to make the team.  While I don't want to post my layouts just yet, I did want to leave you with a little something.  I made some quick and easy Christmas decor with an empty Starbucks bottle, a Unity stamp from Bitty Christmas, paper, ribbon, cranberries and candles.  A special thanks to Tanis for sending me some punched scalloped circles in the mail! :)

Yep, I eat dinner here.....

This is what happens after a night of tag making with friends!  Ok, not really, they offered to help clean, I said no, and then continued to make the mess grow the next day.  I really need a crafting room so that I don't need to "make room" to eat dinner.  Oh well, we do have a back up table, but someone is taking after mom too much! lol

Here are some of the tags I made......

We mainly used Unity Bitty Christmas, CTMH Ho Ho Ho, and some  Studio g  stamps for these tags.  If you want specifics on something, please message me.  My favorite tag has to be the one I made from a Unity gingerbread house my daughter colored.  She said she colored it for daddy, so I trimmed it and used it as a gift tag for him from her and her sister.

A quick card...

I have so much to do, but had to sit down and make time to do a quick card.  Kerbear on SCS was nice enough to mail out some Odd Bird Planet images to me and some other girls for a challenge and this is my card.  Pretty basic, but I like it!  These little gnomes are so cute.  The paper is from DCWV Christmas Glitter Matstack, it has lots of glitterific paper!

ok, off to clean my house a bit...

OH, don't forget to go to the ODD BIRD PLANET WEBPAGE to order some cute stamps of your own :)
