Second "Art" Piece

Here is the next art piece I made for the Halloween show at the coffee shop.  I used the Bam Pop! H is for Halloween (ON SALE!) and Washi Tape from Torendi to make a silly game of Tic Tac Toe!  The Paper is Cosmo Cricket Matilda, so fun, I love white pumpkins!

This card is similar to the one I made for Kelly, I just changed it up a little bit.

I Love PB & J!

When I saw the Bam Pop! F is for Friends stamps with this adorable PB & J stamp, I knew it must be mine!  Other poeple must have felt the same way because it is already sold out at Torendi. 

I really wanted to make the stamp stand out so I just added a a couple of E.A.D Designs Stickerz to the card and called it good!

The Sentiment is from "Thank You Sentiments" (loved that it was in purple, perfect for the Jelly!) and the boarder is from "Stitches"

A new challenge site

I found a new card challenge site to play along with this week.  It is called City Crafter and I found it because Amy T. is there guest designer this week. Congrats Amy! 

This weeks challenge is to use the word light or anything that provides light on your card.  I immediately thought of using the jack-o-lantern from my new Bam Pop! Halloween Stamps!  I paired him up with some Cosmo Cricket Matilda paper and created a little scene!  So fun! Both items are available at Torendi!

A Sign for Saturday!

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a fun Friday night! 

I think I told you that I have been selling my cards locally at two different stores in my area.  If not, well I am! :) I had a request from one of the store for 30 custom made baby shower invitations! I am so stoked! I've never done anything like this before so I hope I can pull it off.  The lady on the phone was so sweet saying how much she loved my cards and really wanted me to make these for her. That got me  thinking, why didn't I advertise for this sort of thing? I decided to whip up a little sign to hang at the store, just incase anyone else wanted to place an order. (I felt odd about having my phone number in the photo so I blurred it out)

This sign may or may not have some E.A.D Designs sneak peeks in it!! ;) 

When I started this was just a brown, rectangular piece of cardboard from a Costco yogurt box! I think it turned out pretty cool! 

Again I used that AWESOME Bam Pop! Font that is HALF OFF at Torendi!

BOO!

I have always wanted to live in a neighborhood that plays the "you've been booed game" at Halloween but it hasn't happened yet.  I'm thinking this year I will start my own version and see how it goes.  Hopefully I can get friends and neighbors to play along.  When I saw the Cosmo Cricket Matilda line I knew I had to have it and it would make the cutest fall cards.  I sat down and made two 3x3 cards the other day for when I start up my "BOO" game! 

I think they are the cutest! 

You can find the Matilda Paper Pads at Torendi along with the Bam Pop! Pop Font 2 (HALF OFF) that I used to paper piece "boo"!  The Matilda Paper Pad has an adorable paper with candy corn on it too.  Make me think of this guy

Gift Card Holders

A friend of a friend (well I suppose  consider them friends now LOL...anyway) owns a coffee shop close to my town. A while back I took in a bunch of my cards to sell and they LOVED THEM! HOORAY!  They also asked me to make up some gift card holders for their store.  This is what I came up with.

They wanted some that were for b-days

and some that represented their store.

All I can say is thank goodness I have a ton of these coin envelopes from Torendi laying around! They work out so well for gift certificate/gift card holding. I also used letters from Popfont 2 (HALF OFF AT TORENDI) and washi tape!  Gotta love the washi tape!

I know, I know! Every time I scrap a layout I complain about how behind I am and today is no different. The photos in this layout are from 2008!! YIKES!  As of today I am going to TRY my best to do at least 2 layouts a week.  I know it's not a lot but it is better than NONE.  This layout is actually about my hubby and not my girls, I guess that is surprising! hehe

Clowns? I Hate Clowns!

Ok, so I'm pretty sure that clowns are a love/hate thing for most people and I am most definitely on the hate side.  That being said, I still couldn't resist using this Sassafras paper! They must know how to work some real design magic over at Sassafras to get me to find this little clown cute.  

The clown and red patterned paper come from the new Apple Jack line and the adorable camera stamp is "Instant Love" by Bam Pop!  The "bubble" is also by Bam Pop! from the Popfont 2 set. Thanks to Kim Kesti and Cath at Moxie Fab World for the fun sketch to play with! You have until April 26th to play along too!

P.S. I wish I could get it to show up better in my photos but I used glossy accents on the "Polaroid" and it looks super cool! :D

Boy B-Days and More!

Time for a couple more of my March B-day cards this time it's all about the boys. 

This card uses the Cosmo Cricket "the boyfriend line."  I think it will forever be one of my favorite lines!  I love all the patterned papers and chipboard images. You can find the 6x6 boyfriend paper pack and 12x12 ready set chipboard in the Torendi sale section! Yep, SALE! The sun stamp is by Unity and Happy Birthday is by CTMH.

This card was quick and easy using the fun papers in the Bam Pop! Volume 3 Collection!  Isn't that little party monster too cute?  I cut him right off a 12x12 pages from this paper pack.  The letter stickers are My Little Shoebox.

Just a quick post to show the fun little card I made my hubby for Valentine's Day.  All stamps are Bam Pop! and the hills are Cosmo Cricket the Boyfriend paper.  This card was my first attempt at using Glitter Mist.  It also makes me miss our Vespa. :(
