Happy Earth Day! I hope you all are doing something EVERYDAY to help preserve the Earth, but today Torendi wanted to do some fun Earth friendly projects for you. Hopefully you started at the beginning of the hop and found me from the "oh soooo" talented
Heidi's Blog. If not, you can start from the beginning
HERE.
I tend to save all kinds of clothing tags, toy packaging and other "junk" in hopes that one day I will reuse it. I also find it hard to throw away the smallest scraps of patterned paper and try to use those when I can. For my projects, that's exactly what I did!
I used the Roxy tag and the coffee holder to make this fun project below. I left the twine super long so I can later tie it around a mug, bag of coffee beans, or some other caffeine inspired gift for a friend.

This bookmark is made from on the "cat" toy holder. I've had it so long I can't even remember what it came from but I'm assuming it's one of my girls toys.

The backs are blank. The Roxy tag came that way and the other one I covered with paper from a 8 x 11 photo bag from Fred Meyer. This way I can write a personal message on the back later on.
I also used a piece of cardboard I got from a costco box as my photo backdrop. Just remember there is usually a way to reuse everything!
Now keep on hoping over to
Kelly Marie's Blog! Don't forget to leave comments on all the blogs for a chance to win some veggie felties and play along with our "recycle" challenge to win some Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Chipboard!
