Knock Knock

Wow, last E.A.D Designs post for 2009, CRAZY! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is ready to ring in the new year.

I made this adorable door hanger for my little girls, Aurora and Alice. My mom is always buying me Disney scrapbooking stickers for both the girls, which is a good thing, because if I didn't have more than one I would probably hoard them. I had both their names printed into E.A.D. designs "Custom Name Vinyl Rub-ons" and used them to make the background for the hanging. I love all the different fonts that the names come in. It's so fun to mix and match them.

Here is a closer look at the rub-ons
After hanging it on their door, I think I may add a picture of both of them on the back, to make it that much cuter!

Have you checked out the E.A.D Designs website lately? It had a super cute makeover!

E.A.D Blog Hop?!?!

Yep, it's true. E.A.D Designs Blog Hops are back! From now on our blog hops will be on the 15th of every month and they will have a common theme! This months theme is traditions. I decided to scrapbook my family's yearly tradition of finding our Christmas Tree the weekend after Thanksgiving.

I feel so lucky to have such a sweet family!

I cut the "s" of holidays to use this rub-on in my title.

The border around my photo on the last page was inspired by the snow around this tree.

I love the way the rub-ons look so good on photos too!

Rub-ons used:

Now on to the rest of the team! Don't forget to leave a comment on ALL the blogs, for your chance to win a $10 E.A.D Designs Gift Certificate!! :D

In an earlier E.A.D Designs post, I mentioned having a tag party with my friends, well this is what I came up with (most of these I actually did after everyone already left thought...too much food and talking at the party).

Hope everyone is getting in the holiday mood! :D

Cutest Monster EVER!

I might be a little bit bias but I think this little guy is too cute for words! I made this card for two challenges this week. I took the heart and color scheme from this weeks Etsy Inspired Challenge store (sponsored by Torendi this week!) and the sketch is from week #15 over at Get Sketchy.

One thing I love about the E.A.D vinyl is that you can paper piece with it, which happens to be the bonus Challenge at Get Sketchy this week! The vinyl is so durable, it just works perfectly!

We All Have Them!

I made this card for the current challenge over on the caardvarks blog, to make a "tall" card. I saw this scene on a piece of Bam Pop paper sitting next to me and thought it would be fun to use. I added some glitter glue to the exclamation points to make them pop a little bit better and of course drew the "angry" doodles on the side. The cute little OBP hedgehog is concerned for his friend and the inside of the card reads "I'm here for you".

"N2"gredients
Paper: Bam Pop! from "A Taste of Torendi"
Die Cut: Bam Pop!
Stamp: OBP hedgehog

HAPPY DANCE! I got a light-box set up in the mail yesterday and I can't wait to try it out on my next project!!

E.A.D Treats!

It's officially the last E.A.D designs blog hop and Emily has yummy treats to share today! She is giving away another $25 gift certificate to the E.A.D Designs Store (keep reading to find out how to enter) as well as offering 35% off all store purchases (TODAY ONLY) with coupon code WITCHES BREW.

Today I have a layout and a card to share.

I love E.A.D Vinyl cause you can apply it to anything, like this little leaf!

I used "trick or treat with spider" for my layout of last years Halloween photos because I just loved the font! (p.s. the spider is on the back of the little bucked I showed you last week)
I used the butter colored "retro thank you" rub-ons that come in this month's torendi kit "Joy" for this fall card. I think it goes so well with so many Cosmo Cricket Papers.

Now about that gift certificate. Be sure to leave a comment here and on all the blogs in our hop that are listed below. Emily will pick a winner and announce it on the E.A.D Designs Blog Friday!
Good Luck!

It's product focus day over on the torendi blog and this weeks product is linen tape. I used the linen tape that comes in this months "Joy" kit. Instead of making a bow, flower, or stripe with linen tape, I cut it up and highlighted the fun images that are printed on it.

Not your Regular Ruffles Challenge!

Here is my next second entry for the moxie fab world challenge!

Ok Cath, so I think this one is a little out of the box and maybe not what you had in mind, but I couldn't resist! :D I saw the corrugated cardboard sitting next to me and thought that it would make perfect "ruffles".

Painted and sprinkled with pepper and nutmeg!

I couldn't resist adding the small Alice in Wonderland Sticker either!

What do you think? I think they look good enough to eat? ;)

A quick and adorable E.A.D Project!

I was going to save this project for Tuesday's E.A.D blog hop but then I saw that all E.A.D scrapbooking rub-ons are on SALE this weekend, so I HAD to spread the word. They are AWESOME and I wouldn't want anyone to miss out!
This cute orange bucket came from the Target dollar bins (oh how I miss target) and you actually get two of these small ones for a dollar. All the E.A.D scrapbooking rub-ons come with an outer frame around them. I used that extra vinyl to make the line along the bottom and also to wrap the handle with. That AWESOME skull balloon is from "Love Hurts" (I want a whole page of these balloons!!) and I cut out letters from "Sentiments" to make the boo!

Have fun picking out some E.A.D rub-ons for yourself! You won't be disappointed!

Ruffles?

I know it's not really me, but I thought I would give it a try for the Moxie Fab Challenge. I have never been a girly girl, so ruffles and lace aren't my things, but I had a cute scrap fabric that matched the adorable mushroom fabric from torendi, so I gave it a whirl. I also used the card sketch from Card Patterns this week.
