Do You Mod Podge?!

Amy over on the Mod Podge Rocks Blog sure does! Amy has so kindly teamed up with the Torendi DT this month for some Mod Podge fun! All month long Amy and the Torendi DT will be showing you some AWESOME Mod Podge/Torendi creations!  Other than the inspiring eye candy, Amy has so generously offered to giveaway 4 (that's one a week) Mod Podge Started Kits!!  All you have to do hop on over to the Torendi blog and leave a comment every friday!  Want even more goodies?? Amy has some Japanese Imported FABRIC fromTorendi that she will be giving away over on her blog, so don't miss out on that either!

For my first project I made a card using the Cosmo Cricket boyfriend line and some Shinzi Katoh Pinocchio Fabric.  To make the fabric workable, I applied it to some cardstock using the matte finish Mod Podge.  Once it was dry, I was able to run it threw my cuttlebug (with scalloped circle nesties), no problem.  I cut out another scalloped circle from the Cosmo Cricket paper to place over the fabric to  make it standout more.  I wanted the fabric and scalloped circle paper to make it appear as one piece, almost like a button or sticker, so I applied gloss Mod Podge over the whole thing.

Here is a close up of what it looks like.

"N2"gredients

Paper: Cosmo Cricket the boyfriend and cardstock
Alphas, My Little Shoebox, AC thickers, K and Co
Stamps: Unity Stamp Co - Distresses Dots Background

Hi Jenn!

Just stopping by!
Nice job on this card.
And, hey, I just noticed you are in Astoria! Fort Stevens is one of my favorite places to go and recharge in the whole wide world. So peaceful and pretty there.
